For Shopify merchants

Piste documentation

Learn to use Piste, the AI agent for Shopify merchants. It answers from your live store data on the web, in Slack and over iMessage, and asks before it acts.

Piste reads your Shopify store, answers questions about it, and runs checks on a schedule. When it finds something worth changing, it proposes the change on a card, and a person decides.

Questions

What is Piste?
Piste is an AI agent for Shopify merchants. You talk to it on the web, in Slack or over iMessage. It answers questions from your live store data, runs automations on a schedule, and proposes changes that a person approves.
Can Piste change my store without asking?
No. A change to prices, discounts or orders is proposed first, as a card or as an approval in the conversation, and a person approves it. The few exceptions, such as a price probe putting a price back as planned, are listed on the Approvals pages.
Do I need Slack to use Piste?
No. You can use Piste on the web and over iMessage. Slack adds channels for automations, cards that your team can decide on, and message shortcuts.
Which stores does Piste work with?
Shopify. A workspace can connect several Shopify stores, such as one store per market.
